The library has numerous books written for non-lawyers that explain the general law relating to specific legal topics. Users must check the state laws relating to the subject that they are researching.
Books that are specific to Alabama law can be found in the Reserve area. These books cannot be checked out, but patrons may copy ($.10 per page) the portions that they need for their personal use.
