Visit the Law Library

The Heflin-Torbert Judicial Building is located at 300 Dexter Avenue, three blocks west of the State Capitol in downtown Montgomery. The library is located on the lobby level of the building.

Upon entering the building, visitors must go through the security checkpoint before entering the library.

Directions

From I-65 coming in to Montgomery from NORTH or SOUTH    [Map]

• Take the I-85 interchange (Exit 171) toward Atlanta.
• Take the Court Street service road exit (Exit 1)-Arba Street.
• Go straight on the service road to the 4th traffic light, So. McDonough Street, and turn LEFT.
• Drive into downtown (about six blocks).
• The Judicial Building will be on your RIGHT.

I-85 South coming in to Montgomery from EAST   [Map]

• Take the Union Street service road exit (Exit 1)-South Street.
• Go straight on the service road to the 3rd traffic light, So. McDonough Street, and turn RIGHT.
• Drive into downtown (about six blocks).
• The Judicial Building will be on your RIGHT.

Parking

Metered parking is available on the streets surrounding the Judicial Building.
