The library has numerous books written for non-lawyers that explain the general law relating to specific legal topics.

Users must check the state laws relating to the subject being researched.

Books that are specific to Alabama law and self help books are located in the Reserve area. Books in the Reserve section are for in-library use only.

Patrons may make copies of the information needed. ($.25 per page).
